Branding and Graphics

The Beauty Hub Academy had a strong start with their branding. The pre-existing brand was attractive and trendy with their target demographic. However, a few common issues needed to be addressed:

• Their pre-existing logo had been created using Canva, which is an ideal platform for beginners and small businesses. However, the filetypes provided by the initial designer were lacking in certain file types and formats that would translate effectively to web design and embroidery. 

• Squinty Pixels will always provide cleints with a full library of their branding and graphics elements in formats suitable for everything from digital to print - in both raster/vector formats and CMYK/RGB colour profiles.

Web Design

TBHA was driving sales for services through a Shopify website that was proving difficult to manage for the director and her staff. As an alternative, Squinty Pixels put forward the Wix offering. 

• Wix is a complete web design and content management platform complete with native apps for selling products, to creating blog posts, taking service bookings, facilitating payments and more. The Wix offering is comprehensive, plus, their SME-friendly operations are perfect for small and new busineses. Especially those looking to take control of (and understand) their website the associated tools.

• This transition involved migrating TBHA's online services to the Wix platform from Shopify. Squinty Pixels handled the associated transitions, managing to domain, DNS, and email client services.

• A full redesign was then undertaken on Wix, using their drag-and-drop design interface and bookings apps. The site benefited from the refreshed branding and visuals captured using our our photography services.

Photography

Within the Health and Beauty industry it is absolutely crucial that businesses avoid reliance on stock photography and imagery. The ability to portray your services as authentic, tried-and-tested, and good quality is the first priority when it comes to self-promotion.

• With a newly refurbished studio location, TBHA was keen to show it off on their digital channels. Our photographers travelled to the site and set about capturing it in its best light. Squinty Pixels also photographed trainee's who were delivering services to models who were organised by TBHA.

• This allowed us, Squinty Pixels, to adorn the website and the included booking services pages with relevant, on-brand and legitimate imagery.

• These accurate and honest visuals also feature on TBHA's social media channels - ensuring that their target audience is aware of the high level of quality that the TBHA brand stands for.
